Our mission:
To spread the teachings of Islam and the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). To inculcate righteousness and compassion in Gen Z and in future generations. To encourage religious tolerance and do outreach to different faiths.
Islamic Shia Association of Wellington will strive to:
- Develop a general understanding of Islam, particularly the shia muslim sect among the general society in New Zealand.
- To educate and assist muslims in New Zealand to positively contribute and integrate into the New Zealand society based on Islamic values.
- To collaborate and coordinate activities among the shia muslims living in Wellington NZ.
- To support new immigrants belonging to shia muslim faith socially integrate and settle down in Wellington NZ.
